What is a Coronavirus?..

A Coronavirus is more common than people think.  It is not just this latest on in 2019/20.

The word ‘Coronavirus’ covers a range of viruses that can cause illness in humans and animals.

The most common ‘Coronavirus’ recently have been SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) and COVID-19 (The outbreak that began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019).

Some coronaviruses are known to cause respiratory infections ranging from the common cold and the flu (influenza).

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that can cause diseases ranging from the common cold to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). (www.who.int)
