Will Hydroxychloroquine help some people with COVID-19?
It has been mentioned that Donald Trump is touting a drug that is not proven to work on COVID-19, and that he has a financial interest in a French company that makes hydroxychloroquine. The question was asked “How many billions will he make from people dying by using a Med that does not work?“.

It could be between $99 and $1,485 according to marketwatch.com ‘Trump’s personal stake in the malaria-drug maker Sanofi could be as small as $99’.
Trump actually has a small stake in basically every big company you can think of.
Regarding the point of the drug NOT working..
The article states: “some hospitals in New York are using the drug to treat COVID-19, with mixed results” and the question has stated this means the drug “does not work“.
