When did Boris Johnson become infected with COVID-19?
The Prime Minister of the UK, Boris Johnson, announced that he had tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, 27th March 2020.
Boris Johnson has gone into self-isolation but continues working via video-conference.
He was tested on Thursday 26th March 2020, after noticing some symptoms. The UK’s chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty, advised him to get tested.
Professor Chris Whitty has also gone into isolation due to feeling that he has symptoms too.
People might have the virus for some days even before the slightest symptoms are noticed. It is not easy to know when Boris Johnson would have been infected.
