MERS Fatality rate:

About 35% of patients confirmed with the MERS-CoV infection died. This percentage may be lower, as it is possible that many people who were infected never reported their illness, and never became a ‘statistic’. There were a lot of mild cases of MERS, and some may have just considered it a common cold or flu.
