According to dw.com hundreds of Russian soldiers have deserted since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Leaving the Russian barracks without permission became punishable by 10 years in jail, and desertion is punishable by 15 years.
This Russian war against Ukraine is NOT to defend Russia, but to invade another country that wants to live peacefully.
