Lucifer Season 5 will return to Netflix on 21st August 2020.
Season 5 of Lucifer is going to be split into two halves, with a short break between the two. “Netflix is going to drop eight episodes, there’s going to be a little break, and then they’re going to drop another eight more episodes.”
Series One began in 2016, with this being the opening plot:
Lucifer, a demon, returns from hell to reside in Los Angeles and runs a club. He soon gets involved with the local police and assists them in solving tricky criminal cases.
Fox operated the series for three seasons, but cancelled in May 2018.
In June 2018 Netflix took over from series 4.
