Bags of pre-mixed Concrete Mix needed per cubic metre..
There are about 2,200kg of Concrete Mix per cubic metre of concrete.
Therefore, to make up one cubic metre of concrete you would need about:
110 x 20kg Concrete Mix bags. 108 bags are quoted by Boral Australia, for 1 cubic metre (m³) of finished concrete.
The old fashioned way, using cement, sand and aggregate for paths and driveways, would be 1 part Cement, 2 parts sand and 3 parts aggregate.
Using this method, about 16 x 20kg Cement bags would be needed, according to Cement Australia
One Cubic Metre of Finished Concrete
16 bags 20kg bags of cement, 0.5 cubic metre of Sand and 0.8 cubic metre of aggregate.

Using Bastion 20kg Premix Concrete, from Bunnings at A$7.50 per bag, it would cost about A$825 for 1 cubic metre (m³) of finished concrete.
Using Bastion 20kg General Purpose Cement, from Bunnings at A$6.20 per bag, would cost about A$100 for 16 bags of cement. And then add in the cost of the sand and aggravate to make up the 1 cubic metre (m³) of finished concrete.
Using a Ready Mix Truck to deliver the ‘ready to lay’ concrete, it can be done for A$250 for 1 cubic metre (m³) of finished concrete. Some areas and suppliers may be higher, or even lower.
