New Zealand Bank Account For Tourist Visa Holders..
How easy is it for a Visitor Visa holder to open a Bank account in New Zealand?
Probably not easy, but it might be possible, and I do know that some banks will say NO, full stop.
Others however, might consider it, depending on the circumstances.
The Bank of New Zealand do have a drop down option for “Visitor Visa Holder” on their account application form.
It is no guarantee of being able to get one, but I do know of at least one person who did get one. The visitor was however married to a New Zealand resident.
