Lawyers for the US government have stated that Julian Assange is facing criminal charges in the United States because he named sources and encouraged theft and hacking,
Kings Council, Clair Dobbin, stated that Assange had not merely published material but had conspired with and aided and abetted Chelsea Manning in stealing and disclosing classified information.
He is also alleged to have sought to recruit other hackers and leakers of classified information.
