This page is intended to show how to take a WordPress XML file of posts, edit some sections and then re-save so it can be imported back into WordPress.
XML files can be opened with MS Excel, but can they be saved in the same original format?
I am using the MS Excel Starter that comes with Windows 7, and this will open the file, but has no option to re-save as a: “*.xml” file.
Hmmm…. not getting anywhere yet… I have seen complex ways, but I want an easy one 😉
