3G v 4G Mobile Phones

For some of us, the difference between 3G and 4G on a mobile phone is as complex a question as the meaning of life.  Although we must assume that 4G is better, as it is newer and has a higher number 😉

So, what is the difference, and does it really matter?

• 3G means 3rd generation
• 4G means 4th generation

So, I feel I must ask: when does 5G come out ?

Facts:

The basic reasoning is that 4G is faster than 3G, however I have seen that some carriers 3G system is faster than another carriers 4G, so the complications appear to get worse.

I’ve been reading up a lot on this, and I think I am more confused than I was before…

I will stay with what I have, and see what happens later 🙂
