UK CPI Inflation Rate February 2023.
The UK Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 10.4% in the 12 months to February 2023, up from 10.1% in January.
The UK Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers’ housing costs (CPIH) rose by 9.2% in the 12 months to February 2023, up from 8.8% in January.
The Core CPI gauge (excluding volatile food and energy items) increased to 6.2% for the year.
The increase in the annual inflation rate in February 2023 mainly reflected price rises in the restaurants and hotels (12.1%), food and non-alcoholic beverages (18.2%), and clothing and footwear (8.0%) divisions.
