Only the Eurozone uses the Euro.

The Eurozone only has 19 countries in it, where the euro (€) is the official currency of those countries. and the UK is NOT one of them.
The European Union has 28 members, and 9 of them are not in the Eurozone.

The UK currency is still the British Pound, consisting of 100 pence.

To be allowed to join the Eurozone, each EU member state must fulfil economic and legal conditions agreed in the Maastricht Treaty in 1992, known as ‘Maastricht Criteria’.  However, both Denmark and the United Kingdom have been given an opt out from this.
