48,759 Russians killed in action between 24 February 2022 and 24 August 2022.
That figure is from a leaked Russian finance paper on budgeting for the death benefits to go to the families of Russian soldiers that were killed in action in the 6 months between February 24 and August 24.
That works out at an average of 268 killed per day.
