To connect a second Wii remote on the Mario Party 8 game, you need to locate the two red buttons that need to be pressed at the same time.
One is on the Wii and the other is on the second remote.
On the Wii, the red button is behind the drop down panel between the ON button. Drop down that panel and you will see it.
The red button on the remote is in the battery compartment, so you need to remove the battery cover, to access it.
You need to hold both of these red buttons down for about 10 seconds, to sync the two units together.
