What would happen if you lost all the data on your computer, would it create problems for you ?

This is the procedure in Windows XP to do a basic backup.

1: How to Backup your Computer in Windows XP
1: From the START menus, select "Accessories", then "System Tools" and then "Backup"
2: How to Backup your Computer in Windows XP
2: Then select the Backup option from this screen...
3: How to Backup your Computer in Windows XP
3: Then choose the options of files etc to be included in the backup
4: How to Backup your Computer in Windows XP
4: Finally select the target drive to store your backup

I have just run the above procedure on my own system, backing up 280GB to a 1TB external USB drive, and it is saying it will take about 11 hours to complete.
