How Often is Tear Gas Used on the US Mexico Border?..
In 2018, the headlines have been hard on Donald Trump for the fact that Tear Gas was used on the US Mexico Border in November 2018.
But was that the first time?
NO.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection have used CS gas since 2010, with 26 times recorded times in the 2012 fiscal year and 27 times in the 2013 fiscal year. In 2016, it was only used 3 times, and this was in President Obama’s term of office.
Pepper Spray, (Pava Capsaicin) was used 151 times in 2013, also in President Obama’s term of office, and 43 times in the 2018 fiscal year, according to the CBP numbers.
