During 2011 and 2015, 69% of all Murders in the US were committed using Firearms, with another 12% using Knives.

In 2015, there was a total of 13,455 murders, of which 9,616 involved firearms and 1,544 involved knives.
There were 63,661 murders during 2011 to 2015, with 43,932 using firearms, and 7,949 using knives.
