The names of the FOUR American Citizens killed by US Drone strikes have been released are are:
Killed in Yemen
- Al-Awlaki, a radical Muslim cleric, who was born in the US state of New Mexico.
- Abdulrahman, al-Awlaki’s 16-year-old son, born in Colorado.
- Samir Khan, a US citizen of Pakistani heritage, who produced an online al-Qaeda supporting magazine.
Killed in Pakistan
- Jude Kenan Mohammed, one of eight indicted by US Federal Authorities over a terrorist plot in 2009, but who escaped before arrest. He was a resident of North Carolina and had a Pakistani father and an American born mother.
Not all of these were specifically targeted, and therefore could be classed as “Collateral Damage” ?
