Why Does the USA Like Immigrants so Much

The United States, the United Kingdom and Germany are the top three countries where people view Immigrants as people that make their country stronger.


Americans hold some of the most positive views of immigrants, Why?..

Many reports say that the USA is against immigration, yet the people say differently. A survey by Pew Research has a Graphic showing the USA as more accepting of immigrants than most of the EU.

The United States, the United Kingdom and Germany are the top three countries where people view Immigrants as people that make their country stronger.

Germans, the British and Americans hold the most positive views of immigrants, while Greeks and Italians hold the most negative views, according to surveys conducted by Pew Research Center in the U.S. and seven European nations.

Why does this NOT seem to agree with what we normally read in the papers?

Illegal Immigration is a different matter, and the one that seems to get the headlines. So are the numbers of low skilled workers, who seem to flood the countries, and do NOT add value to the country.  They do take lower paid jobs, but most people answering the surveys are not concerned with that.  They want the higher skilled immigrants to come and be of benefit to the country.
