After a long time the Dr Patel story is coming to an end, we have had the court case, then the verdict, followed by speculation of the 4 life sentences that would be handed down, but then we got the actual sentence… Â 7 years total.
But now we have the appeal, and talk about 3 years, less time served and a suspended sentence = going home soon.
BUT…. Â the Americans may come to the rescue… talk of a class action in the USA. Â He may be prosecuted when he goes back home afterwards.
What is it with the lenient sentences ?
