According to a report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), China will overtake the United States within the next 3 years, to become the Worlds Largest Economy.
China, currently the worlds 2nd largest economy, expanded last year at the rate of only 7.8% – its lowest rate in over 10 years and some experts say that the Chinese Economy is losing steam.
The OECD however, is predicting that country’s economy could expand by 8.5% this year and 8.9% next year, and shuyld average at least 8% in the current decade.
The OECD forecasts that China could overtaking America around 2016, and become the world’s largest economy.
