The First President of the United States itself was George Washington, from 30 April 1789. He was also the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army from 15 June 1775 to 23 December 1783. A position now held by each US President.

EU Citizens in UK and Guarantees for Future after Brexit

Instead of voting for Trump, one voted for John Kasich and one to Ron Paul.

The Democrats who had selected Hillary Clinton had FIVE Faithless Electors
Instead of Voting for Clinton, three voted for Colin Powell, one for Faith Spotted Eagle and one for Bernie Sanders.

US Elections: Popular Vote v Electoral College Vote

With the 2016 Trump v Clinton election now over (Trump has 306 Electoral College Votes and Clinton has only 232), the talk is on about how Clinton, with almost half three million more votes than Trump, can Lose the election.

Final Results gave Donald Trump 304 of the Electoral College votes (2 less than the original 306) while Hillary Clinton received 227 (5 less than the original 232)
